Kyoto: My favorite part of Japan

Fushimi Inari, Kyoto

Fushimi Inari, Kyoto

Did I tell you how much I love Japan?

Kyoto is probably my most favorite part of Japan so far! I believe that if you ever decide to travel here for the first time, Kyoto is the place you should visit.

It is probably because of the old architecture and temples all around the areas makes me feel like I am in the Japan that I see in the anime I watch. And also, compared to Tokyo, Kyoto is a lot more quiet and has more open environments to see more of the greenery that surrounds the country.

The best part of this trip was experiencing the Fushimi Inari gates. It is basically a hike where you enter hundreds of gates. At the end of the journey, you will meet a shrine at the top of the mountain. What else can I say? Food is always great here too. I would love to return as soon as possible. This is one of those places where you just feel like you are in a different world.

A good tip for anyone who plans to visit is: wake up early to travel to the popular areas. There will be less people so that you can take the best photos for social media.
