East Oahu - Hidden Places

Waimanalo Beach (hidden area)

On the East side of Oahu, there are hidden areas that even some locals do not know of. The places include Portlock beach, China walls, Spitting Cave, Halona beach cove, and a secret trail that leads to a hidden area of Waimanalo beach. To get to these areas, you either have to take a shore hike down a trail or follow a narrow alleyway to reach the beach that is tucked away behind a neighborhood.

As for the hidden part of Waimanalo beach, I got some insight to how to find the trail from a local resident who lived in the area. She was kind enough to let me know where the trail begins.
